Monthly Reflections 0707

It’s another month-end.  For this month, my achievements are:

  • Gave talks to Pri 6 students from 4/7 - 6/7 on Time Management and Motivation Study/Skill.
  • Attended monthly gathering at YMCA on 6/7 for The Society of Singapore Writers.
  • Finally officially launched my :juneparenting.com” website on 07/07/07.
  • Gave a talk on “How to talk so that your child listens” on 14/7 at Blossom Monte Creative Centre.  Good turn out of about 50 parents.  The principal was overwhelmed by the response.  Will be contacting her again for more future talks.
  • Finally managed to clear all the plastic bags piling in my room.  What a relief!
  • Attended my eldest girl, Yulin’s graduation at NTU on 25/07/07.  Was glad she found a job and started work on 23/07/07.
  • Did facilitation at Anderson Pri Sch on 26/07/07.
  • Attended Parent-Guardian meeting at Cedar Girls’ Sec Sch.  All parents present were so enthusiastic and gave a lot of suggestions on how to get more parents to join the scheme.
  • Got my sister, husband and my third daughter, Yu Mei, to attend the Reiki Reunion on 29/07/07.  The venue was at SWCO at Waterloo Street.
  • Gave 2 assembly talks on “Internet Safety” to Ngee Ann Pri Sch students (P3-P6 and P1-P2).

Tasks to be done in Aug 2007:

  • Get my mum to attend handycraft session at WINGS.
  • Attend monthly gathering at YMCA on 3/8 for The Society of Singapore Writers.
  • Complete the 15 sessions of One-On-One presentation class. Last lesson ending on 8/8.
  • Resume monthly Reiki session on 11/08/07.
  • Give talks on “Time Management” and “Being Responsible” on 13/8 at Ngee Ann Pri Sch.
  • Organize a gathering for participants of GAB WINGS on 23/08/07 at my house.
